Protection Optimization selection method

A method, not a slogan

The letters PO in Nitripo stand for Protection Optimization. It describes how a glove recommendation is arrived at: by working through the application before reaching for a product code.

Step 1 — Understand the application

What is actually being handled, for how long, in what conditions, by how many people. A hospital examination room, a metal fabrication line and a food packing hall have almost nothing in common except that all three need gloves.

Step 2 — Determine product requirements

Translate the application into requirements: latex-free or not, disposable or coated, tactile sensitivity or mechanical durability, dry or wet grip, short contact or prolonged exposure.

Step 3 — Review technical specifications

Match requirements against what a configuration can actually deliver, and separate what is documented from what is assumed. If a performance value requires a manufacturer test report that does not exist for that configuration, that gap belongs in the conversation now rather than after delivery.

Step 4 — Match packing and quantity

Packing format, dispenser count, carton specification and labelling need to fit the buyer's distribution system, not just the product.

Step 5 — Coordinate the quotation

Build the commercial offer on the confirmed configuration, quantity, packing and delivery basis so that it can be compared like for like against any other supplier.

Step 6 — Support international supply

Production scheduling, packing verification, shipping documentation and delivery follow-up through to arrival.

Why it is structured this way

Most glove supply problems do not come from the glove. They come from a configuration agreed too quickly, a packing format assumed rather than confirmed, or a document expected but never verified. Working through the six steps is what prevents those three failures.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Protection Optimization a certification?

No. It is Nitripo's internal product selection method. It is not a standard, a certification or a performance classification.
